    The Auxiliary will host a welcome event in our auxiliary meeting room for all first-time attendees immediately following the close of our business session.   National Board members will attend to assist you with any questions and help you get acquainted with the events happening the rest of the week.  This is an event first time delegates do not want to miss.

    “Exactly what are my responsibilities as a National Trustee”

    Trustee Expectations and Communications

    Glenda Lehmann, Chairman of Trustees, will cover obligations of the National Trustee verses those of the State Trustee.  The Board of Trustees governs much of the responsibilities of the Grand Lodge Auxiliary and knowledge of their duties is essential.  

    For delegates interested in serving as National Trustee this session is a must.

    The Fraternal Order of Police recognizes the need for qualified and competent services focused on the treatment of law enforcement officers and their families. The lifestyle and work of a police officer is unique and so are their needs. The Officer Wellness Committee is engaged in developing a program to assist Officers and their families in tough issues.  Our speaker will provide us with useful and necessary information.

                A discussion regarding what is required in your subordinate or state Constitution & By-Laws and how to get them approved.  What signatures are required, and when they need to be amended.   This review is necessary for all Presidents, Secretaries and Constitution & By-Law chairman.

    A Post-Conference Board Meeting will be held at a time set by the newly-elected President.  The meeting will be held in Indiana Convention Center, Rooms 120-121.   Newly-elected National Officers, National Trustees and Alternate Trustees are expected to attend.  The meeting is open to any Auxiliary member wishing to attend.
